Karen Buch, board member and volunteer with the Selinsgrove Area Community Pool, on the work and accomplishments at the poll this year, the importance of a locally owned and operated community pool and how they keep this pool afloat. She’ll talk about repairs, maintenance and upgrades made this year, and those planned next year. She’ll talk about their upcoming 5K fundraiser, opportunity for a T-shirt, costume contest, bake sale, and other fall activities.
From the SARI: Selinsgrove Area Community pool, located at 30 Linda Lane, announces its upcoming Halloween-themed Pumpkin Dash 5K fundraiser. The event will be held, rain or shine, on Saturday, October 29th at 9:00 AM beginning at700 Front Street on the Isle of Que, Selinsgrove. The timed race will take place on a flat, paved, shady loop course near the picturesque banks of the Susquehanna River. Walkers and Runners who dress in creative costumes will be eligible to compete for prizes in the 12-and-under or 13-and-over age categories.
