Mark Lawrence and Ben Reichley host Bob Garrett and Sue Greene of the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce on Financial Friday. We discussed the latest jobless numbers and the booming economy. Minimum wage was a perennial discussion item throughout the show. Dr. Dana Brown, Ph.D., Executive Director, Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics, Assistant Professor of Political Science, Chatham University, on the mission and work of the Center, their goal to encourage more women to enter elected office, and to make our nation’s body politic more welcoming to women candidates. We’ll talk about a ‘Ready to Run, Campaign Training for Women’ event, and a wide range of projects to foster more women’s involvement.
