Cindy Walker, Program Director, Meals on Wheels program at RiverWoods, on the tens-of-thousands of meals delivered in the Milton/Lewisburg/Watsontown and surrounding communities, the funding picture, the real malnutrition issue that exists among senior citizens, the need for volunteer drivers, their current 100 or so clients, and the wide range of factors associated with senior citizen nutrition. She’ll talk about the No Gala Gala and a new area of people in need—and underserved community. She’ll talk about the importance of hot meals.
