Members of the Shamokin Rotary club will promote the Shamokin Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk:

·         Matt Atchison, Shamokin Rotary Secretary and Fulton Bank Financial Center Manager, Shamokin Branch,

·         Charmaine Tetcoskie, Shamokin Rotary Treasurer, Rotary District Assistant Governor and System Director Utilization Manager for Geisinger,

·         Sherri Bader, Shamokin Rotary board member and President of Bader Furniture Company.

The Shamokin Rotary Club presents the seventh annual Shamokin Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk, Thursday, November 28 (Thanksgiving Day). Same day registration 8am to 8:45am, Race begins promptly at 9am. Race at Kemp Memorial Stadium. Register at Bader’s Fine Furniture, 704 N. Liberty Street, Shamokin, or on the Shamokin Rotary Club Facebook page. Email[email protected]. First place male and female runners win $100 each. Awards for seven age groups. We’ll name some of the sponsors.

We’ll also discuss the mission and work of the Shamokin Rotary Club, their work in the community during the holidays, the fundraising, work to eradicate polio, and other local community projects.
