Dr. Scott Purinton, Division Chief Gynecology Oncology, on the increasing prevalence of cervical cancer, why it is still a vexing issue for women and the medical community, how the age range is ‘creeping’ and what are the new treatments. He can talk about robots, chemo, and even profiling to identify likely cases and recurring case of cervical cancer. He’s working with the American Cancer Society to bring awareness to testing and screening, diagnosis, treatment, and remission.
