2/10/21 WKOK Sunrise: Joanne Troutman and Stacy Piecuch

Joanne Troutman, President and CEO, Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way, and Stacey Piecuch, Senior Director of Community Impact and Development, on the call and plea to, ‘Be kind to essential workers.’ They’ll reiterate the mission and work of the Be Kind campaign, talk about the nominations of frontline workers, how to do it, why do it – defining who you see as frontline workers. We’ll hear why we should express gratitude for the challenges these individuals have endured during the pandemic and how so many of them have stepped up to be available to serve others. Since this is ‘Rock Red for Health Hearts with Evangelical Community Hospital,’ we’ll talk about why this is an important crossover day, and how heart health, and kindness and stress are all interrelated.
