Julie Ranck, aunt of Alyssa Dressler, who died of cardiomyopathy, on the Alyssa Dressler Foundation, its mission and activities. We’ll discuss briefly, the the www.alyssadressler.org website and an upcoming medical screening (more info below) intended to prevent other families from experience the same pain and loss. The youth heart screening is this weekend, so we’ll focus registration, etc. We’ll discuss—what is cardiomyopathy, how does it develop, how can it be detected and treated, and what should everyone know.
