Father Deacon Paul Siewers, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Literary Studies, Bucknell University, on Tuesday night’s Open Discourse Coalition event with Edward Snowden. We’ll talk about the on-campus event with a guest speaker, and the online event, both of which are open to the public. We’ll discuss the mission and work of the ODC, their other deliverables this year, grants, internships and how they are fighting on free speech on several fronts. We’ll talk about why Snowden is a highly controversial global character, but an important person with whom to discuss free speech and whistleblowing.
