Show Notes

Samantha Pearson, Healthy Communities Program Manager, Pennsylvania Downtown Center, regional environmental advocate, former Executive Director Lewisburg Neighborhoods, Elm Street Manager, and Walk it! Bike it! (WIBI) Coordinator, on road, pedestrian and bicycle safety in 2022: We’re going back outside this year, but it isn’t safe, our roads are getting more dangerous for people outside of motor vehicles: pedestrians, buggies and bike riders. So, why is this happening, what are the factors, what can we do, and where are solutions in use which we should employ? We’ll talk about some national initiatives aimed at reducing the 100 road deaths daily.
