3/30/22 WKOK Sunrise: Rachel Herman and Sabrina Holmes

Rachel Herman, Sustainable Food Solutions VISTA, Union-Snyder CAA, and Sabrina Holmes, Master Gardener Program, Snyder/ Union County Coordinator, Penn State Extension, on the unique ‘Seed to Supper’ program starting soon at the Miller Center for Recreation and Wellness. We’ll talk about this aspect of the food insecurity problem in our area, and how this will be an attractive learning opportunity for Valley families. We’ll ask why any food insecurity program is needed at all, and in general, the mission and work of Penn State Extension and the CAA/Sustainable Food Solutions endeavors. I’ll ask about the logistics, how this will look, how people can participate and other directly related topics.
