Empowering Women in Business, Women Entrepreneurs Milton MILTON – Empowering women-led enterprises and encouraging women entrepreneurs is the goal of a presentation Monday in Milton. The Improved Milton Experience, or TIME, is hosting Robyn Eversole, a professor of management at Bucknell University. She’ll give a workshop at Chef’s Place at 5pm Monday. She tells us, why women still can use extra help in business and entrepreneurship circles, “That’s not because women aren’t good at it, but it’s because of traditional gender roles, that often women have to fight just a little bit harder to be visible in these kind of leadership spaces.” She’ll talk about her experiences around the world with women business owners and how women can advance their business interests in and around Milton. She says attendees will explore strategies to grow community support for women entrepreneurs, connect with fellow business owners and champions of small businesses and learn about the importance of women-led businesses in local communities.  You can hear her full interview on the WKOK podcast page.
