Lois Passi, Chair, Local Vision, Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way, along with Cynthia Reid, a leaders at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, Sunbury, and Sharon Leon, Union County Housing Authority, on the regional diaper drive which is starting on this day. They’ll talk about how a critical unmet need in many families-on-the-margin, is diapers. The high cost and the pressing needs add to the stress that exacerbates the cycle of poverty. They’ll announce their effort to hook-up generous donors with drop-off locations.
