He talks about the near impossibility that any GOP lawmakers will vote for new gun restrictions or other related laws. He says it is unlikely any registration or background check law, red flag or are under restrictions will get the 60 votes necessary to pass in the congress. Joe is all wound up about the school shooting in Texas, but Mark just keeps repeating 'we won't do anything,' like impose new gun laws or require more background checks, we won't impose red flag laws and we won't harden schools. Most callers said they would favor more restrictions on behavior or tougher gun laws.
