Samantha Zlotorzynski, Penn State Cooperative Extension, Penn State University, on summertime food safety, the keys to food safe summer picnics, setting up a handwash station, preventing cross contamination, and really using a food thermometer. She’ll talk about keeping leftovers chilled, how to pack a cooler and how to stop food borne illness (really!). We’ll also revisit home food preservation, what you should be doing now, and getting ready to save a ton of money.
