John Showers, Chairman, Union County Trail Authority, former Union County Commissioner, and John Del Vecchio, AICP, Community Planner, Union County Planning Commission, on the huge economic payoff for having a rail trail in Union County. We’ll talk about some big successes with the Buffalo Valley Rail Trail and we’ll have an update on its use, some little known trail rules, the future of the trail, some pop-up problems along the way, some great solutions, a look at the funding picture, the trail maintenance picture, and I’ll ask them if they have any words for Northumberland County as they cobble together their rail trail.
