Maggie McConnell, Vista AmeriCorps Campus Contact, Bucknell Communities from the Inside Out, returns to Sunrise to talk about her work serving in Shamokin, helping the community implement an environmental resiliency plan. She’ll talk about the position, the mission and work that she is doing, the work to lower greenhouse gases, look at transportation options, helping the community be healthier and even more livable. She’ll discuss help and resources available, what students are doing, grants, building partnerships and envisioning positive outcomes.
