Doug Walter, coordinator Mifflinburg Veterans Day Program, and Al Hess, active veteran and co-founder Union County WW II Honor Roll, on the upcoming Veteran’s Day Program in Mifflinburg and the collection of clothing, gift cards and contributions for a VA home. The 11/2 11am event in Mifflinburg Community Park will include music, pledge of allegiance, a reading of the names of WW II service members who were killed during the war. Shikellamy JROTC will help and there will be remarks from two noted local Vietnam era veterans .
